"Buy Dirt" Musical Analysis

Link to my song Here

This song is made between Jordan Davis as well as Luke Bryan. Jordan Davis has a few popular songs while Luke Bryan is one of the most famous country singers ever. They made this amazing song together.
This song was released in 2021.

This song makes me feel extremely happy. It is about enjoying the smaller things in life like loving and having a family. He says to thank god for the dirt (land) you can own because he isn't ever making anymore of it. It makes me really appreciate the beautiful earth that we live on.

MUSICAL ELEMENTS

Tempo- The tempo of this song is 178 bpm. This songs tempo is pretty quick. This makes sense with the way that they are performing this song to be a happy one. It isn't super fast  but the background music behind the words is a pretty consistent quicker speed. I think this is important to make the song stay happy and upbeat versus slower and sadder.

Lyrics- The lyrics in this song are absolutely beautiful. They talk about how beautiful life is and enjoying every moment of it. Growing your family tree and growing a family. They say you can't buy happiness but you can buy dirt, this is a very important meaning to me because you can't buy items to make your family happy but you can buy dirt to make them a home.

Harmony- I think harmony is a very important part of this song. This is because there are two separate people singing this song so they come together and harmonize pretty often. It is quite pretty because they both have amazing voices. The way they can mesh together to make the song sound so touching is beautiful.

Dynamics- I do not think this song ever gets too loud in dynamics. There is never a point where I would need to turn down the song more than the rest of it. It stays at a general dynamic and sounds very happy and loud enough to be heard but not so loud that its yelling.

Vocal Range- The vocal range of both of these men is pretty amazing. They can find a way to cover a pretty wide range of vocals. They make their voices extremely smooth and soft which conveys the happiness and importance of this song versus harsh and angry.
