Music and the Fictive Dream
"Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story"
This is from the musical Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda in 2015. This is a musical about the Founding Fathers mostly about Alexander Hamilton. This musical is mostly song and does not have much dialogue compared to many other musicals. Alexander Hamilton is a man who went from an orphan in the Caribbean to being the first U.S Secretary of Treasury in the United States. This play is amazing at using music and laughter in order to teach people about the American Revolution as well as the life of the amazing Alexander Hamilton.

Hi, I agree with you, Hamilton is a great at using music and laughter to teach people about the American Revolution. I remember the first time I saw Hamilton I remember enjoying the musical. I think you choose a great song to highlight! This song was so heart warming and in my opinion was one of my favorite song in the musical. I think your explanation of the song was great and did the song justice.
